Last updated: April 10, 2021
Cookies
The Sentometrics website uses cookies on its website. Cookies are small text files placed on the hard drives of the computers of website visitors. They contain information such as the user's language preference, so the person is not required to supply information again when revisiting the same website.
Cookies facilitate visits to Sentometrics' websites, while helping Sentometrics to store user preferences and visitor information and keep track of user trends. However, Sentometrics does not establish any link between the information saved by the cookies and data by name concerning the visitors to its websites.
Should any personal data be obtained via the use of cookies, it will be handled in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) and Sentometrics's privacy policy.
Functional cookies
These are cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the website. You cannot refuse these cookies if you want to browse the website. For example, these may be cookies that remember the choice of language, the content visitors previously viewed on website or the email address and password they provided when registering during an earlier visit to a website. These cookies may also include third-party cookies. They are mainly cookies enabling visitors to see videos incorporated in our website.
Analytical cookies
Sentometrics' websites make use of Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"), to measure information about website visits. Google Analytics uses cookies that generate information on the number of website visitors, the number of pages consulted, website activity reports and how often visitors return. For this web analysis service, Sentometrics has concluded a subcontracting agreement with Google pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. Information generated by the cookie is transferred to Google, which stores it on servers in the United States as well. Before storing the data, Google anonymises it by deleting the last byte of your IP address. Data stored may not be used by Google for its own purposes or for advertising purposes.
No use is made of other Google services combined with the cookie created by Google Analytics. For further information on the use of Google Analytics, you can consult Google’s privacy policy, and notably the way in which Google uses data gleaned from websites that use its services. The use of analytical cookies requires your prior consent. You may therefore refuse the creation of these cookies:
You may change your cookie settings at any time (for instance, by asking to be notified when cookies are sent to your computer, or by refusing cookies) by altering your Internet browser settings. It should nevertheless be noted that, in this case, you may be unable to register on Sentometrics' websites or use other functions for which registration or information gathering is required.
